Trish it was brilliant to have you there, last night I was explaining to some visitors about how i’ve been working with your family for about ten years now, and I realised how amazing this whole thing really is! I mean, the time keeps ticking on and the girls keep growing up and I love that i get to spend some time with you all every so often and capture all that. I’m glad you had a great night, and let me know if you’d like me to join you over at the vineyard for a second look. xx

SUCH a great exhibition, Beth! So many beautiful images, and so colourful! I was really taken with all the colour. Will have to go back and take another look when the room isn’t so full of other people looking! Congratulations!

Oh Trish that’s fantastic to hear, thank you! It makes all the difference to have the feedback from you, after all it’s for you that I’m running these courses. The best thing is to see now that you have control over the camera the way that you want to, and that is excellent to hear. Now go forth and shoot! :) B

Trish - July 17, 2010 - 12:41 pm

These three sessions have been ENORMOUSLY helpful for me – thanks, Beth! The small group size has meant there was always plenty of time for questions, explanations, demonstrations etc. The banter between the participants was also really helpful – such a great vibe! Everyone was there to learn how take their photography ‘to the next level’ and I think we all absolutely achieved that. I feel so much more confident now about using my camera in manual mode, and I can see how it really is so much better to have that control of the camera. Thank you!!!

Senso

Good Food Do you love good food made with passion? I crossed paths with Jan Gundlach from Senso Restaurant and Culinary Studio a while back.  I was a bit excited to meet him actually. He’s European (German in fact, I love Germans!…personal oddity about me you probably don’t know), a Michelin Chef, and has worked some…

:) yeah I know tell me about it! But thanks for the good words, I’m very happy with the images myself just quietly! :) well you never know how things will turn out when it’s not your specialty, but actually yes they seem to have done the job quite well.

Lush images, Beth! Just beautiful. And now, of course, I have to go there for dinner.

Conquering the Camera Assignment 4 [canberra photography course]

Seminar 2 Debrief We had a great session today, in Conquering the Camera Seminar 2.  I saw a few light bulbs go off which was really cool to see.  We went over camera mechanics again just to be sure, and briefly looked at images submitted from Assignments 1,2 and 3.  We then looked at light metering, and started looking at how to…
