BJP [profession]

I’ve mentioned it before, I know, but I have an excuse now to mention it again – yep, I’m an AIPP member – that’s Australian Institute of Professional Photography.  What does this mean?  That I work to the highest standard of professional photography and business conduct that I possibly can.  I deliver on creative promises,…

BJP [over]

I was at The Front Art Gallery and Cafe the next morning after the opening sitting having a coffee and enjoying my little 15 mins of fame. I couldn’t resist pulling out my phone and making a pano picture of the room. So long, farewell, and thank you for coming.  It’s over, over, over! And…

BJP [ANZAC]

I live in the Nation’s Capital.  For me there is something extra special about significant days in Australian history when they are celebrated or noted in the Capital.  Today is ANZAC Day – the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps Day.  It’s a day of remembrance for Australian and New Zealand participation and loss in all…

BJP [meg]

As BJP develops, so do the services, ideas and working style. I ran a competition while I was away in 2009 and Kate and Dan decided to enter.  They were one of three families to win, which was especially cool in this instance as I photographed their wedding on 18 January 2003 – the day of…

Kate this is such lovely feedback, thank you so much. I was so pleased you were happy to throw yourselves in and try the three sessions, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea to be photographed when they’ve just had a baby, that takes courage on your part, so thank you to you and Dan and the little ones. Great family, great personalities, great results! xx B

Kate Stewart - April 20, 2010 - 12:32 pm

Thank you Beth for documenting such a special time in our lives. It was especially significant to have these sessions with you since you had created such wonderful memories of our wedding day. We loved welcoming you into our growing family for each of the three sessions and we are delighted with how wonderful your photos have turned out. You are so talented!

BJP [lucky door]

…and the winner is… Liz Rodway!  We drew the winner later in the evening, after Steven Murray and his camera had left the building.  I rang Liz and luckily she was still at the venue, so I was able to present her with her prize. Actually I was really stoked because we had over 100 people…

Oh fabulou Liz, I’m so pleased! I will let Cathy know too that you are happy. It’s so great to have seen how that ended up as an artwork on the wall, because it was far from a glamorous moment when it was taken on the back of a camel at dawn! :)

Liz Rodway - April 20, 2010 - 5:50 am

Hi Beth, yes I did find the perfect spot to hang ‘disappearing over the rise’ in my home. I’m still amazed that you managed to capture such a perfectly clear shot from the back of a camel! Thanks again Beth. I love it. :)

BJP [opening night]

Copyright Steven Murray of Creative Image Photography I had an absolutely FABULOUS opening night last night, it was a stunning turnout.  The ambassador from Morocco His Excellency Mr Mohamed Mael-Ainin was there, I had a fabulous client Trish Smith whose family story I have been capturing for many years open the night, a certified AIPP god called David Paterson played…

It’s early 2010 and I’m just about to send a beautiful BJP Story Book and Wall Art collection to Alex and Laura in Cape Town. It’s fitting  now that I share something of their photo experience with you. Late last year I was in South Africa and at the 11th hour I had a phone…

Oh Julia thanks so much, yes, the pictures have turned out well I think, they capture the movement and spirit of your winery. It’s the people that make the place, their personalities and energy so that’s what I wanted to reflect in the images – they all look great what’s online here is a sampler for you. Thanks again so much for our partnership and I’m so pleased to be associated with your beautiful vineyard.

Beth, was great to have you out at the vineyard. These photographs have turned out beautifully. You seem to have an amazing way of caturing, lines, light and life! We look forward to developing our partnership into the future and to your upcoming exhibition at the Front.
