 So herein the confusion around French speaking Canada begins. On the one had a couple of hundred years ago the French surrendered to the British, so for all intents and purposes this part of the world was officially dumped. Despite the rejection the locals here hold strong to their French heritage, to the point that speaking French…  This week I’ve been in Canada’s capital – Ottawa – to take in some sights and to photograph this lovely family comprising of David, Leilani, Luke and Cleo. This was a busy busy shoot playing tag, having morning tea, watching the ducks, riding bikes and tree climbing. Never a dull moment Thanks so much David,…  I’ve had a fabulously busy week this week shooting three families. With all the post-production and viewing work to be done, I have just started now, late in my week here in Toronto, to go and check out some stuff. Well, I do have plenty of photos, but while on a coffee break I couldn’t… In April I submitted this image to an exhibition entitled ‘Berlin Pillar of Art’ to be held in June. I was rather pleased to be told that my entry had been accepted. The image was taken back in January in Australia during a photo session with ’J’. I love the shots of the grandmother and her granddaughter in North Carolina. Lovely.  As a final note on NYC…I photographed this lovely family Ingrid, Gary and Anneliese in Port Washington, which is on Long Island, 30 mins north by train from Manhattan. Gloriously green, this part of the world is a tad pretty…seriously beautiful homes and gardens there. We went to an historic property called Planting Fields…
